Eye discharge, redness, cloudiness, swelling, squinting, injury, or protrusion may result from irritation, infection, dental disease, blocked tear ducts, glaucoma, ulcers, or trauma.
Eye problems can worsen quickly and are often painful.
Seek Prompt Veterinary Help When
- The rabbit stops eating or produces markedly fewer droppings.
- Breathing becomes labored, noisy, or unusually fast at rest.
- The rabbit is weak, collapsed, very cold, or unable to move normally.
- Pain, bloating, bleeding, head tilt, seizure activity, or severe injury appears.
- A subtle change worsens quickly or occurs with more than one symptom.
