Why Is My Rabbit Sneezing?
A rabbit may sneeze because of dusty hay, bedding particles, fragrance, poor ventilation, dental disease, nasal irritation, or respiratory infection.
Repeated sneezing or discharge should not automatically be blamed on allergies.
Seek Prompt Veterinary Help When
- The rabbit stops eating or produces markedly fewer droppings.
- Breathing becomes labored, noisy, or unusually fast at rest.
- The rabbit is weak, collapsed, very cold, or unable to move normally.
- Pain, bloating, bleeding, head tilt, seizure activity, or severe injury appears.
- A subtle change worsens quickly or occurs with more than one symptom.
